GASTRO-RESISTANCE

Upon the client’s specific request, we can microencapsulate the raw materials within a gastro-resistant membrane, thus ensuring the release of the active ingredient within the intestinal tract, where it can carry out the desired function.

MASKING SMELLS AND TASTES

The membrane isolates the active ingredient sealed within and inhibits the exhalation of odours or the transfer of unpleasant flavours.

FLOWABILITY

The transformation of the raw material into solid form, protected within micro-spheres, increases the flowability and machinability of the active ingredient, thus favouring the packaging process.

MISCIBILITY

Thanks to microencapsulation, incompatible ingredients – once sealed inside the gelatine membrane – can be mixed without any problem.

HIGH TITLE

On average, the active ingredient contained within the microcapsule is 70–75%, even reaching 87% in some cases.

STABILITY

The gelatine membrane protects the active ingredient enclosed within, being completely isolated and protected from any external agents (oxidation and more), preserving its stability over time.
