Microcapsules containing Caraway oil

Dry microcapsules of caraway oil, extracted from the fruits of the Carum Carvi plant, which allow the formulation of solid oral forms (hard capsules, single-dose dispersible sachets) while maintaining the therapeutic properties intact and attenuating the pungent taste of the active ingredient. The dimensions of the microcapsules are between 100 and 600 μm, with an oil content of up to 85%.

Caraway is known for its excellent digestive, carminative and spasmolytic properties. The flavonoids and the other main components - limonene and carvone - offer a reinforcement and a valid help in the prevention of numerous diseases.

In general, caraway is an excellent remedy for gastrointestinal disorders and stimulates the appetite and digestion. [1]
