Cod FL 029

01. Product description
Dry microcapsules obtained by coacervation containing Hemp Seeds oil (Canapa Sativa L.) specifically designed for the protection of the active ingredient from direct oxidizing agents. Hemp oil is an important source of polyunsaturated fatty acids, in particular Linoleic acid, and alpha-Linolenic acid, which are defined as essential fatty acids. The microcapsules can be added to solid oral formulations - also in association with other active ingredients - such as hard capsules or single-dose, dispersible sachets, keeping the therapeutic characteristics of the active ingredient.
02. General information
The lipid profile of hemp seed oil consists of 90% unsaturated fats. Its main qualities derive from the high concentration of polyunsaturated fats, in particular Linoleic acid (LA) 55% and Alpha Linolenic acid (ALA) 22% (omega 6 and omega 3) [3]. Phytosterols and Tocopherols (Vitamin E) complete the composition. [1] [2] Hemp seed oil is an excellent adjuvant for relieving inflammation and chronic pain, thanks to its anti-inflammatory properties. The presence of essential fatty acids can help reduce cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood, decreasing the risk of developing cardiovascular disease.
