01. Product description
Lavandula Officinalis plant, one of the most used oils in the world for its extraordinary and multiple phototherapeutic properties. The microcapsules allow the formulation of solid oral forms (hard capsules, dispersible singledose sachets) while maintaining the therapeutic properties of the lavender oil intact and masking its typical bitter taste. The microcapsules dimensions are between 100 and 600 μm, with an oil content of up to 85%.
02. General information
According to numerous scientific studies, lavender oil, which offers multiple beneficial and therapeutic actions, has sedative and pain-relieving properties. Its use is beneficial for the gastrointestinal tract, where this oil acts as a natural antispasmodic and offers carminative properties [1]. Its most active components are linalool (20-50%) and linalyl acetate (20-30%) but it also contains various minor terpene derivatives.
