Microencapsulation by coacervation ensures the preservation of the therapeutic properties of lavender oil, but it also solves the problem of its typical bitter taste, which is sometimes not well-received by consumers. It often happens that the taste of the ingredients contained in some supplements is too strong and the consumer is not inclined to take them, despite the benefits that could be derived. IPS microcapsules are also designed to mask the odors and flavors of the active ingredients, using a polymeric membrane.

Thanks to the widespread distribution of the active ingredient in the gastrointestinal tract, IPS microcapsules deliver the active principles directly to the point of maximum effectiveness, ensuring prolonged and optimal release.

The microcapsules contain between 80 and 90% lavender oil, titrated to 20-50% Linalool and 20-30% Linalyl Acetate. These main components are known for their beneficial and therapeutic actions, including sedative, analgesic, and antispasmodic effects.
