IPS's FlowActives® microcapsules are the result of this innovation and represent one of the best products on the market in terms of quality and versatility. The technique used for their production is called microencapsulation by coacervation, an innovative method that involves coating solid or liquid substances within a polymeric membrane capable of isolating them perfectly from the external environment.

With sizes ranging from 100 to 600 microns on average, FlowActives® microcapsules are designed to maximize the availability and protection of active ingredients. A primary benefit of this formulation is stability: the gelatin forms a barrier that protects the active ingredient from oxidation and external agents, ensuring its effectiveness over time.

The microcapsules are also designed to ensure a high content of the active ingredient, with concentrations that can reach up to 87%. Their perfect flowability facilitates the packaging process, making the microcapsules ideal for incorporation into various forms of dietary supplements, such as capsules and sachets. Not least is the reduction of odors and flavors, which allows the use of ingredients with unpleasant tastes without compromising their intake.

IPS's microencapsulation technology not only improves the performance of the ingredients but also allows for mixability without interactions. This enables the combination of components that would otherwise not be compatible and the creation of more complex formulas.

A final advantage, but not least in importance, is gastroresistance. This characteristic ensures that the active ingredient is released directly into the intestinal tract, where it can exert the desired effect without being compromised by gastric acids.
